We will sail past Fisherman's Warf and Pier 39, stopping by to wave at the Sea Lion's (and all the envious tourists that wish that they were you).
When your friends say that they walked over the Golden Gate Bridge, you can tell them that you sailed under it and "Out the Gate" onto the Pacific Ocean.
Stella Maris is also a Catalina 30 Bermuda rigged sloop. She is presently berthed in downtown Sausalito. She is very well maintained and has complete electronics and safety equipment. She has also raced with the Sausalito and Presidio Yacht Clubs. As a matter of fact, she beat Willin' in a Presidio Yacht Club race (once and by mere seconds).
Willin' was featured on the cover of Latitude Magazine. The article and photos of our boat inside the magazine commented on the fact that we had reefed our sails in the windy condition of the Corinthian Yacht Club race - something that other racers are often reluctant to do.
Captain Mark Tishler is an experienced USCG Master Captain. He has over thirty years of experience sailing San Francisco Bay, the Pacific Ocean and the Great Lakes.
San Francisco sightseeing in style. See all the San Francisco Attractions from a sailboat. See the San Francisco skyline and all the historic sites from the Bay.
Willin' is a Catalina 30 Bermuda rigged sloop presently berthed in the South Beach Harbor at Pier 40 in San Francisco. She is well maintained and has complete electronics and safety equipment. She has raced with the Sausalito, Golden Gate (presently the defenders of the 35th America Cup), Oakland, Corinthian, and San Francisco Yacht Clubs. As a matter of fact, we sail the same waters where the 34th America Cup races were sailed.
Captain Lisa Theodoratus is also an experienced Captain licensed by the United States Coast Guard. Originally from Washington State, she enjoys racing and cruising sail boats.
You will enjoy a safe comfortable day on the Bay. The sailing of the boat can be a gentle and smooth Bay tour, or a faster, more exciting sail. But we will at no time push the boat to her limits.
